Vlog - What happened to my damn hair?

Greetings those of you with full heads of hair!

Today Zoey and her impossibly cute googs are paying me a visit. Nikki might come over. I made this in anticipation and I put blueberries and white chocolate in it.

And while I'm playing tea parties and going to the beach, I thought you might get a kick out of another vlog I had lying around. I was overwhelmed with the popularity and kind feedback after the last one, so am pushing them all off onto you before you get sick of them.

jokes.

Enjoy. And if you have an answer to my question, I'm all ears!

Y'know. Cos I'm not all hair any more.

  1. Yum! And re hair loss - its just all the hair you didn't lose while you were pregnant. Unless you're like me and have a dodgy thyroid - mine comes out like that all the time. It grows back but I have unattractive clumps which I mostly can hide. See you this morning!

  2. I did notice my hair was all sorts of different while pregnant! I've a lot of hair so could stand to lose a bit more, haha. Love those clumps :-/

  3. Haha! No words of wisdom on the post partum hair loss, but I did laugh out loud when you said you pulled Chewbacca out of the shower drain. xxx

  4. Well let me say...you would still be gorgeous even if you did go bald!  Seriously.   I was blessed... after each of my girls my hair got a little thicker. Which was really nice since it was ridiculously thin to start with....I think the Lord compensated me for all those stretch marks I'm covered with!!

  5. I wonder what my compensation would be! So far I'm a stretch-marked, saggy-booked baldy!! Xx

  6. Over twelve months on and I'm still loosing my hair. I'm like you I could make a wig for Burt everyday.

It seriously freaks my hubby put because no matter how much I clean it's still everywhere. Our bed is the worst you look at the sheets in the morning and all you can see is hair!!

  7. I hear that! When I was pregnant my hair grew sooo long and sooo thick and then when S was three months old (which coincided with when I stopped breast feeding) I shed half my hair in a month. Crazy! Must have something to do with hormone levels dropping. You won't go bald! Maybe just a bald patch here and there...I kid I kid. xx

  8. I want to know the answers.
Actually my hair is ALWAYS like that, pre kids, post kids. Only now I honestly do fear I am getting a bit of a bald patch! It's not right! Not at 25!

  9. You make me laugh!  I'm sure Mr Newton would greatly appreciate a parcel of your locks once a week!

I now blowdry my hair in the laundry.  My youngest is 3.  It. Does. Not. Stop! Boo hoo

  10. I've been going grey and losing my hair since I was 12. I wish I was kidding.

You'd think by now I'd be one of those hairless cats, but nope. I am still more cat lady than hairless wonder.

  11. Homg, I laughed so hard at sending parcels to Bert Newton. Geesh. Alas, I'm losing hair also, but I'm faaaairly sure it's not post-partum hair loss. ^_~

  12. I started going grey at 25. What is it with 25?!!

  13. Oh dear lord, I should have enough for a coat by then! Ol' Bert so needs it ;-)

  14. oh my gosh those bald cats freak me out! I'm all about the fluffy. So pleased you're a cat lady and not a baldy!

  15. Perhaps it is because your head secretly wants to be like Bert? He's always good for a laugh *-*

  16. I could do with losing a bit more... its too thick for summer!

  17. I remember distinctly feeling the same way! Where did all that hair come from?!
Mine is dark and was long like yours and it was everywhere... It grew quite thick when I was pregnant so I guess it had to go? (why grow it in the first place then? A whole other question!). My hair loss stopped when I stopped breast feeding. That's all the answers I have... x

  18. I've met Bert! He's very polite and friendly. He was doing a show at QPAC at the same time I was working on an opera, and we bumped into each other in the green room.

  19. Did you know I'm almost a quarter bald already? Getting distressed. My post partum hair loss didn't return. So now I'm at a loss on what to do. You can see my scalp. That's how bad it is.

  20. He used to make me giggle when he was on Good Morning Australia. His sense of humour is excellent, and I should like to meet him. I should also like to work on an opera at QPAC. I've never seen one, but I've seen a lot of ballet there - my BFF is the arts editor for the Courier-Mail and I am an exceedingly fabulous handbag.

  21. wow, is that normal? Might be good for summer, but it can't be good for your self-esteem :-/

  22. That's pretty unfair. I don't have any grey's yet *knocks on wood* but I wasn't dying my hair (except a few times as a teen) until I went blonde. I am naturally a colour very similar to yours. Haddn't dyed it in 6 years until June.

  23. At least you are in good company-stumbled upon this today while looking for something completely unrelated:

Selma Blair suffers from PPHL too!

  24. haha I'm normal!! People have always said I look like her too...

  25. Oh, handbagging is wonderful isn't it? I've made an enthusiastic if not so fashionable handbag for a few things I had no business attending on my own merits.

  26. I don't know why that comment is me but not me. Eh.
